Alisa Dugast

Alisa Dugast (formerly known in Ukraine as Alisa Sveshnikova) is a composer, conductor, music educator, and creator of artistic projects. Her work combines a strong classical foundation with contemporary musical expression and cinematic storytelling.

Born on the Black Sea coast of Ukraine, Alisa was connected to music from an early age. She graduated with honors from music school, specializing in choral singing and piano, and later studied choral conducting at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. After completing her degree, she continued her academic development through postgraduate studies.

Her passion for contemporary music, combined with her professional conducting background, led her to found Alice White in 2010 — the first professional pop choir in Ukraine. The project quickly gained recognition for its unique fusion of choral artistry, modern music, and innovative stage performance. Under her direction, the choir appeared in major television productions, collaborated with well-known artists, and performed on some of the country’s leading stages.

In 2013, Alisa founded a contemporary arts school in Kyiv, where she focused on educating and developing young talents, creating educational programs, and producing creative projects.

Following the outbreak of war in 2022, Alisa left Ukraine with her daughter and began a new chapter of life in France. Today, she lives and works in Monaco. In 2025, she married a Monaco resident and continues to actively develop her professional career.

Alongside her work as a composer, Alisa continues to teach piano and voice to children, creates educational and creative projects, and helps young musicians discover and develop their artistic potential.

Since 2024, one of the main directions of her artistic work has been original music for film and media. This new chapter became a natural continuation of her many years of experience as a conductor, artistic director, educator, and producer.

Just as she once combined the traditions of classical choral music with contemporary styles through the Alice White project, today she brings together orchestral sound and the modern musical language of cinema.

Through her compositions, Alisa creates emotional and atmospheric musical narratives that reflect her lifelong passion for storytelling through music.
